  1. 1 Abdul kalam's was infront of knowledge and learning.He was always humble and the always had the attitude of a beginner. Abdul kalam's house was built in the middle of the 19th century that it was a fairly large pucca House made of limestone and bricks on the Mosque street in Rameswaram.

    2 APJ abdul kalam had only goodness in his heart because of he was provide all the necessities interms of food, medicines,clothes,etc.He was able ti interact with the students community.

    3 The education part was thoughts and ideas Dr. Kalam,the researcher felt that only formal education and can not inspire a person to dream. Education means learning by doing and experiencing failures and success. Education also means acquiring knowledge which helps a person in social adjustment.

  2. 1.When Lakshmana Sastry summoned the new teacher and asked him not spread the poison of social inequality and communal intolerance in the minds of innocent students it was a strong message message which reformed the other young teachers.
    2.the feeling and attitudes of originators are expressed in extract as
    -a short boy,
    -undistinguished looks,
    -secured childhood both materially and emotionally
    3.Abstract things and ideas are expressed as

    1. In this case it has described that there was inequality related to religion, but later they both said to their respective parents about what had happened in the class. Lakshamana sastry told the teacher he should not spread inequality related to any religion it is poison to spread it among the children. Where they were intolerance and said that the teacher to quit and apologise for his mistake. In this story where Ramadhana sastry felt bad and changed his attitude.
      2) Abdul kalam was born into middle class family. In a town of Rameshwaram in the state of Madras. He was short boy with undistinguished looks born to handsome and tall parents.

      - His father used to struggle for money and avoid to buy luxury items and comforts for the family.
      - only necessaries things were provided I.e food, clothes and medicines.
      3) Abdul Kalam father was not found much educated or wealth but still he was possessed with great wisdom and true generosity of spirit.

  5. 1.The attitude of others changed when lakshmana sastry asked the teacher to apologise in presence of the students for differentiating the students on the basis of caste and religion.
    2. The part where Mr.Abdul Kalam saw his friend Ramanandha sastry weep because the teacher changed places in the classroom on basis of religion made a lasting impression on him and he felt emotional.
    3. The parts like 'innate wisdom', 'generosity of spirit' and 'undistinguished looks' shows the abstract parts in the extract.
    4.Here,i could identify three functions of language that are informational , expressive and phatic as we can see in the extract gives us information about this story of a person, it is very expressive and tells us how that person felt and is phatic as well which shows us the social bond between the people in the extract.

  8. 1- Author's father was not educated, not so rich but he possessed innate wisdome and true generosity. He was not able to provide lavish life but provide all necessities. After all these things Dr Abdul Kalam became a renowned personality ..will and hardwork is important.
    Lakshman shastri taught lesson to new teacher that he should not spread poison of social inequalit and communal intolerance this abstract shows change in attitude of others..
    2- necessities provided interns of food clothes medicines,
    According to social ranking when teacher teacher was asked to go sit on back bench , weeping face of shastri impression .
