✓ Elucidate assessment for learning. How you as a teacher will use it in your classroom transaction?
It also called formative assessment.
ReplyDeleteAssessment for learning (AFL) is an approach to teaching and learning that creates feedback which is then used to improve students’ performance. Students become more involved in the learning process and from this gain confidence in what they are expected to learn and to what standard.
By asking questions during the instructions or lesson we can use assessment for learing
Assessment for learning is a interpret the learners and teachers.The teacher is decise the which learning activities understand the learners. Assessment learning is a systematic process to teach and improve the students learning. It is also examining the student's work. Assignment of learning is focus on the class,groups,workshop and leader etc.Assessment is a part of practioner, theoretical and researcher. Assessment is a clear to student learning outcomes.

--> Encouraging the students to participate in classroom activities as well as curricular and co-curricular activities.
--> In classroom, creating the situations that students are interact with each other and to understand the topic.
--> Give more example related to the topic
--> Creating and learning activity in classroom so that the students build in their knowledge.
--> Creating a Inclusive classroom with the students.
--> Use to different strategies in classroom.
--> Most of the group Discussion,Debate, Quiz, Content, Brain activity and also the case study that game to do in classroom.
In Classroom Transaction is always teach content and also inform about the environment,Situation and conditions also.

3.proper feedback is also necessary to progress in their concerned learning.
4.It informs a students where and what kind of corrective measures are needed as well as tells the teacher to modification in her teaching methods or instructional package.
5.if sometimes majority of students have not understood a particular concept then it is regarded as inefficiency of teaching and instructional process,Then as a teacher,we can attempt to teach them again the particular concept using alternative instructional methods.
6.if continuous formative evaluation is done then their less chance of his or her failure in Summative evaluation or assessment.
Assessment for learning is a process of teaching in a systematic process which deals with different idea to perform with students. assessment is a clear to student learning outcomes by doing learning activity and creativity in classroom so that students should build their knowledge. assessment is a part of practical and theoretical knowledge and assessment has an important concept that students should understand a particular concept regarded as in efficiency of teaching process it also involves the use of experimental data on student learning to refine program and improve student learning.
ReplyDeleteAssessment for learning is the learning process where the students and teachers communicate in the classroom for the discussions purpose. This form of assessment for learning is commonly called as formative assessment, where the students are motivated or encouraged them to be active in the learning process. Assessment for learning where the teacher and students work together to assess the students knowledge related to the subject or any activities. It helps to achieve and improve the knowledge of the students at large extent.

ReplyDeleteAssessment for learning is the process of seeking and interpreting evidence for use by learners and their teachers to decide where the learners are in their learning ,where they need to go and how to get there.
Since assessment for learning includes formative assessment it needs to be done during the teaching process.
I will use it by including little activities during the lectures like taking quizzes,playing fun and interactive games in the class where students will be made subtly aware of their learning through self realisation and even I as a teacher will be able to assess their learning.

Assessment is a key component of learning because it helps students learn. When students are able to see how they are doing in a class, they are able to determine whether or not they understand course material

Questioning is used not only as a pedagogical tool but also as a deliberate way for the teacher to find out what students know, understand and are able to do.

A teacher can use assessment as a tool to investigate how much their student know, how can do, where they may confuse. Through assessment teacher can gather information related to student learning process. They get idea in what way they can plan to teach their students forward.
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher I will conduct question answer related to what I have to teach them. Try to provide learning resource material related to whatever I am going to teach them. I will use different different type strategies so that they can grasp easily , Evaluating and provide feedback so that they can be encouraged and motivated.
Assessment for learning, is also know as formative assessment, where teacher strengthen the learners through different task or way.

- Teacher purpose should be,c to self-regulated learners who can leave school able and confident to continue learning throughout their lives.
- Teacher can encourage group discussion which makes learners to be confident and they must learn how to work in team which will help them in future.
- Teacher can throw a debate where learners can talk with a open mindset which will helps learners to understand that different people have different opinions on the same thing.
- Teachers must have a session of talk it out where students can host their own talk show and discuss the important points of any lesson. They write their own questions and answers, and can even play characters of their own creation.
- Most important a teacher should also see that she have assessment for challenge or special students like she can ask a Challenge students to use a drawing rather than words to show understanding of a concept. This is the perfect exercise for those students who have difficulty speaking out in class.
- Teacher must use developmental questions where they can have a idea of progress of students whether students is able to understand or they need more clarification.
- Teacher must make students more active and can generate interest by teaching them in fun learning way where they can have learn in peaceful environment.
